When you’ve adopted our recaps of the Future Collector Automobile Present, you realize that Tyler Hoover of Hoovie’s Storage fame attended the occasion along with his 2004 Maybach 62. When the AutoHunter Cinema group attended the 2022 Barrett-Jackson Houston public sale, that they had an opportunity to take a look at one other automobile owned by him.

This 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren roadster was bought at Barrett-Jackson by Tyler Hoover. The SLR was constructed by Mercedes-Benz in partnership with McLaren — they even introduced designer Gordon Murray of Mclaren F1 fame on board. Energy comes from a supercharged 5.5-liter V8 producing 617 horsepower and mated to a five-speed computerized transmission. That energy helps the SLR obtain 0-60 in 3.4 seconds and a high velocity of 207mph.
